What is a <25kg RePL?
The CASA credential that lets you fly multirotor drones over 7kg and up to 25kg commercially, and the foundation of a paid career flying larger RPA across Australia.
The <25kg Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) is the fastest, most affordable way for new and experienced pilots to enter the drone industry flying multirotor RPA over 7kg and up to 25kg. It opens the door to working as an employee, a contractor for a ReOC holder, or as a Chief Remote Pilot (CRP) running your own operation.
Our training goes far beyond standard textbooks with a structured, multi-stage learning experience. You will progress through interactive self-study, course videos, a live online classroom, a full day of flight training with our instructors, and a final day of assessments, all powered by our advanced, user-friendly online learning platform. Complete your flight training and you receive your 25kg Multi-Rotor Endorsement the following business day.
The course is modular so you can attend on your schedule, one day per week over five weeks, the whole thing in five days, or spread across the full 12 months. Upon passing you can fly multirotor RPA over 2kg and up to 25kg commercially under an organisation’s Remote Operator Certificate (ReOC), or obtain your own ReOC and authorise your own operations.
