What is the <7kg RePL Pilot Transition?
The <7kg Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) Pilot Transition is a proven path for GA fixed-wing and rotary-wing pilots who hold a CASA flight crew licence and want to enter the drone industry as an employee or contractor for a ReOC holder, or for themselves.
If you hold a PPL, CPL, RPL or ATPL, you can skip the learning component and attend the assessment day. If you want the full course, you still get access to the complete RePL online offering: theory modules, videos, manuals, extra resources and quizzes, completed in your own time.
When you are ready, book a practical assessment day in your nearest capital city for the exam and practical flight assessment. Once assessment is complete, the Droneit team lodges the paperwork so CASA can issue your RePL, which happens instantly. Completing the RePL course lets you fly any multi-rotor under 7kg, get insured, access further exemptions and fly in controlled and restricted airspace under the right approvals.
